About BeingHOME

Andrea L. Weid, MPA, OTRL, CIHC

Owner - 

I work with people to make incremental, sustainable lifestyle changes grounded in kindness, self-compassion, and mindfulness.  My approach to change is unique and draws from 21 years as an occupational therapist, a Certification as an Integrative Health Coach from the University of Arizona’s Center for Integrative Medicine, and my own health and mindfulness education journey.

Philosophy -

Kindness, self-compassion and mindfulness are essential elements for sustainable change. Making life changes takes on new meaning when we cultivate these elements and link them to a greater purpose for change. 

My OT background informs my assessment process and honors the dynamic interplay between a person's abilities, what they want and need to accomplish, and the powerful role of the environment in supporting or preventing change.

 

As such, my services can be provided in the office, or in the places and spaces where your life happens: at home, at work, and in the community. This will allow us to explore the nuances of day-to-day life that are often overlooked when simply discussing the need for change.

 

Current habits, routines and environmental factors that do not support the life you desire will be addressed so that we develop a realistic plan for success. Together, we will create a personalized roadmap for change that honors your inner wisdom and the unique qualities and demands of your life.
